These tablets are also used to relieve the pain of postherpetic neuralgia and restless legs syndrome. It works on the chemical messengers in your brain and nerves.
Gabapentin tablets are available in multiple doses of 100mg, 300mg, and 400mg Gabapentin tablets are taken with food once daily. These medications should be taken at evenly spaced times throughout the day and night; no more than 12 hours should pass between doses.
Gabapentin can cause mild side effects like dizziness, Sleepiness, and water retention, which refers to swelling of the arms, hands, legs, and feet, difficulty walking, fever, nausea, and vomiting.
