Bupropion tablets belong to a class of medications known as antidepressants which are primarily used to treat depression and it is also used to assist people in quitting smoking. Depression is a mood illness that interferes with a person's daily existence. It works by boosting the level of a chemical messenger in the brain that is responsible for treating depression's mood and physical symptoms and as a result, it aids in mood improvement.

Bupropion is available as an oral tablet in a number of different formulations and the available forms of bupropion hydrochloride include IR - instant-release tablets in doses of 50mg, 75mg, and 100mg,  SR - sustained-release tablets 50mg, 100mg, 150mg, 200mg, and XL - extended-release tablets 150mg, 300mg, and 450mg.

In some cases, you may experience certain common side-effects such as nausea, headache, dizziness, vomiting, insomnia, fever, constipation, sweating, allergic reaction, impaired concentration, and dryness in the mouth.
