Anastrozole tablets contain a substance called Anastrozole. This belongs to a group of medicines called aromatase inhibitors. This medication is used to treat breast cancer in women who have gone through the change of life. Treating certain types of breast cancer in a woman who has been through menopause, including women with disease progression after Tamoxifen therapy. Anastrozole tablets mostly used in dose of 1mg and it is prescribed for hormone receptor-positive, early breast cancer in postmenopausal women as adjuvant treatment.

Do not try anastrozole tablets if you are pregnant or planning to become pregnant or are breast-feeding.
